.....So I was annoyed at Todd for reporting some dubious
poll result the other day, so I wrote him a nice email:

To: Todd, Chuck D (NBC Universal)
Subject: Yo, Chuckie!! Here's a link to a clue!!! Your poll reporting
sucks eggs. Fire your intern.

And today I gets the response:

"Yo!" I wasn't talking about those Gallup polls, I was citing our poll
and collectively a slew of polls that have shown a trend downward over
the last six months...

Whattaya think? Does the erstwhile Mr.Todd actually answer his own email or is there a sweaty cheeto-stained dude wearing a Rutgers sweatshirt in a basement at MSNBS prattling with me??

I'm thinking it's really Chuck. He's gotta be doing SOMETHING with his off camera time besides research to report like he does.

And I'll bet he has a Rutgers sweatshirt, too.....

1. An obvious explanation ...

What evidence do we have that Mr. Todd is not in fact himself a sweaty cheeto-stained dude wearing a Rutger's sweatshirt in a basement at MSNBS prattling with you?

4. So he picks his own polls to get the"downward trend"..
Damn straight he doesn't do research..he's so much better at answering his own email.

Chuck Todd chuck.todd@nbcuni.com

I posted chuck's email on a thread the other day and a poster rolled his eyes bc he thought chuck wouldn't pay any attention to those out in tv land who take exception to his mediawhoreness.

6. Your link is broken - was that my thread?

Answer to Chuck:

1) On the screen you were showing a pole of Feb 1st showing Obama vs an unknown candidate. These polls are always the most unreliable because the respondent is always thinking of some idealized candiate that run faster than a train and leap tall buildings, and hasn't been married three times or impugned by other actual records.

2) Obama's numbers, atleast according to Gallup, have been absolutely fixed for the last 6 months. If Obama won the country with 53% and currently has 51%.

3) While Obama's numbers have declined among conservatives and Republicans they have not declined at all, including the last 6 months among liberals, Democrats, non whites, blacks, etc for the last 6 months, contrary to your statement on MSNBC that "Obama's support among Democrats and liberals was in decline". While there is vocal 'discussion' on the left, they do not have the suicidal inclinations of the Republicans and the Tea Party Movement. Obama is not only the best President we have had in a generation, the Obama's are the most normal inhabitants in the White House since the Trumans.

10. And, any declining numbers are due to rampant
hate on the radio, tv, and internet.

9. Who knows, maybe he and I will become BFF.

maybe he could explain to me the unnatural attraction the MSM has for Palin, a vacuous and insignificant consumer of toilet paper and air.

And millions of dollars worth of airtime every day that could be used to teach people that their insurance premiums ARE a tax.
