And I really really like their approach on "Let's Move". The part about moving desserts and tv time to the week-ends really hit home. That is just how it was at my house. In fact, we got a choice of treats when we watched Saturday Night at the Movies. We didn't get pop and chips, we got one or the other. We did get tv during the week, after dinner and after homework and chores were done. Maybe 2 shows and then bed at 8:00. So yeah, I was really slack as a parent on that, and still am as a grandparent. So those are some things that I can do to instill healthier habits. Just move the treats to the week-ends.

5. IMO, the best 1st lady ever in terms of

reaching out to those who need a hand.

IMO, as a Senior, at this moment, she would rate as my choice for BEST EVER.

3. When I was a kid, we were working class.

Didn't have much money. Rarely went to McDonalds for burgers. Almost every night we had a home cooked meal and a good portion of the time couldn't afford desserts.

With that said, when we did have money, my parents would rent movies on Friday night and we'd bring home a box of tacos from Taco Bell.

Maybe order a pizza. But it was a once in a month kind of thing.

me..nutrition wise. A lot of Kids eat too much junk food.
