How dare Obama pick a fairly progressive SC justice...
What right does he have? I'm so disappointed in his decision. Why didn't he listen to me? WHY? WHY? WHY?

1. I trust the President's decision
over any of the hacks voicing concern..Obama has proven his good judgement.

5. Did pretty well with Sotomayor.
I remember her being roundly panned by the "experts" here too.

Besides, has he actually made a decision? Or are we basing this off the Politico thing?

4. She has a Goldman Sachs connection
Edited on Fri May-07-10 07:37 PM by Jeff In Milwaukee
Did $10,000 in work over the course of three years. Considered the asking price of an attorney of her caliber, this amounts to less than 10 hours of actual work spread across a thousand days.

This makes her a Goldman Sachs insider....

3. Exactly how outraged are the netroots supposed to get about this appointment?

BTW I have been scouring the netroots and cannot find a single thread expressing outrage that Obama met with Orin Hatch to discuss nominees.

We are definitely following behind in outrage generation at the netroot level.

10. I keep reading that Salon piece over and over looking for the
arguments against Kagan. Most of it seems to be about what she hasn't said.
