Maj. Gen. Stephen Lanza, the top U.S. military spokesman in Iraq, said Tuesday that troops "are on track" to draw down by the president's Aug, 31 deadline, but would not discuss whether the pace was being slowed.

... I mean, the spin being that Obama is not going to reduce troops at all, it's all a sham and a lie, and we've been betrayed. Why do I even go there any more?

4. This man has been in office less than a year and a half and

he truly has accomplished so much. I know he'll do everything he can to get the majority of the troops out of Iraq by his deadline. It sickens me to see the bashing on DU. I'm just not going to those forums anymore.
