Hi. And, Obama needs to be thanked for stopping the oil gush.

Steven Chu, his Energy Secretary, and the team of scientists put together as the "out-of-the-box" team had the idea to use a high-energy gamma ray scanner to examine the condition of the blow-out preventers. If this was not done, top-kill would never have been an option.

If Obama had put in a Military take-over, it's unlikely top-kill would have been an option.

If any of the things the arm-chair Presidents at DU had been done as they saw fit, top-kill would unlikely have been an option.

Obama's unique approach of governing and choosing highly competent staff to get the job done that led to the success of this option.

I'm not going to post this up top... I think someone should though.

Oh, and because of Obama's continuing leadership on this effort and that action was initiated on day 1, more than 11 million gallons of oily water have been captured.
