We need a computer program which allows each individual to write the President's speech |
|
and then have the President deliver the speech to them.
Between the pundits and the DU, I am amazed at how many people want detailed control of what the POTUS does!
He should have said x and y and done q and z.
Just dumb. Like they expect a personal puppet.

4. As I posted elsewhere, |
|
Rachel did a pretty good job of it last night.
I very much approve.

5. Someone here told me the other day that the President |
|
must honor everything he said he was in favor of during the campaign.
My question is ~ how could he possibly do that ~ let's take the health care bill.
Did he want it passed, Yes.
Did many in Congress give him hell - Yes.
I just don't see how anyone could believe that each item said in a campaign will be reality immediately.
What President ever got everything done that he was in favor of within the first two years in office? Even Bush took eight years to completely destroy this country but he had a lot of help doing it.
Democrats don't own this country ~ Republicans damn near do, even now.

6. Yeah, I often point out they can only promise they'll support certain |
|
things and that Congress is involved - they'd still need it to get through Congress.
President Obama did say he wanted the public option, but once in office, wanted to get something through even without that.
That's why I give a lot of flexibility to that.
