any serious issue arising from our political arena should be solved in no less than a mini series length begrudgingly at the most..... and a 30 minutes sitcom timing at best, with a commercial's worth as total perfection.
Added, folks get to determine as it is happening what should be happening and how it should conclude.
The telltale sign was the pirate episode early in Obama's presidency. First folks made Obama a central part of the plot, and then most decided that if he couldn't get the Captain freed, it would be Obama's downfall. The longer it took, the more angs folks felt. Why can't he just solve it? and then, he did. That's what we wanted, what we needed and what we demanded. that's what we got..... and even that took too long!
So long live the instant replay with blow by blow commentary..... of course, there must be a sitcom ending, with canned applause and/or boos, but more important, the problem must be neatly solved in a clean quick end... as anything other is just more than we have time for.
