I made the same offer to both sides. Neither side wants to talk directly and DU doesn't seem to want the conflict directly.

I don't understand why offering up my forum as an essentially non-moderated forum is such an awful thing. I didn't mean to offend anyone and everyone is free to say no.

If we talk maybe we could resolve some things? Or maybe we will fail, but if we don't talk that failure is guaranteed.

And yes, I'm confident in my position and the position of my fellow BOGers. That's a truly horrible thing, isn't it? I think we will win the debate. So what?
