WH Pledges $30 Million to National HIV/AIDS Strategy
Sounds progressive to me!

President Obama hosted a press conference this afternoon to talk about the Administration’s strategy for fighting HIV and AIDS in the U.S.

Earlier, Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the details of a new White House National HIV/AIDS Strategy, which allocates approximately $30 million to fulfill the President’s campaign pledge to unify efforts among federal and state agencies. The initiative seeks to reduce the annual number of new HIV infections by 25 percent within five years and will implement prevention measures for those with the highest-risk for contracting HIV. It will also increase access to care for those living with the disease.

2. I've noticed that many of these great moves are done without fanfare.
Some modesty on his part, and utterly no support from that librul media.

:hi:

3. Hello, NYC_SKP! So many under-the-radar progressive initiatives --
-- that are willfully ignored by those who insist it's somehow more progressive and contributory to be "disappointed."
