I'm a bit nervous about possible mischief in MS by bored Republicans, especially in light of the impact Rush Limpy's request seems to have had in Texas.

Does anyone know what other issues will be on the Repub ballot in the MS primary?

1. There is NO way Obama loses Mississippi. I just don't see it, even with
Republican interference. He's expected to win over 60% of the vote there.

2. Thanks for responding, K Gardner.
:hi:

I hope you're right. You probably are, but I had to toss it out there to see how others felt.

3. people say this kind of mischief is minimal, but--
I really wish we had some concrete research to go on.

A person has to be really partisan to go to all that trouble, I'm thinking. Ditto-heads are very partisan, though.

4. If there are no other pressing issues on the ballot, it doesn't take much
effort. Having to caucus afterward as in Texas makes it more trouble, but that's not the case here. Hopefully there are other primary races/issues to vote on.

I remember reading that some of rushbo's flock were claiming to be "disenfranchised" because they thought they'd be able to vote on both ballots.

Maybe anyone thinking about stirring up trouble will learn a lesson from those poor disenfranchised Texas Repubs. ;-)

I'm probably getting worked up over nothing because I'm eager to bring this thing to close. :-)
