3. That's the funny part lately - the "fun" is in opposing certain "cheerleaders"

So when you carefully examine their behavior and call them on it (childish/infantile/vengeful), it motivates them even more to "get" you. Which, of course, reinforces my original diagnosis. Trust me - I'm a hypocrite on this at times too - there are people who dare you to hit them - sometimes I 'fall off the wagon' and succumb to the taunts (how can you not - some of this stuff is pure right-wing trollery).

There is some positive news though - ever since I discovered that I'm not alone in my frustration with the tone & direction of DU, I feel less need to 'play' in what has become their sandbox at this point in time. Thinking about this prompted me to post the "would they miss us" thread.
