Best feature of this forum is that recs/unrecs don't work - the system has become about personality conflicts and has very little to do with quality content any more. I think a solution involving some sort of limitations on the rec/unrec feature is in the works.

when I knew it was time to think about leaving the forums at GD and GDP was when the Obama hate threads were getting rec numbers in the hundreds. That was just to much for me to fathom. :eyes:

Why should freeps and trolls be able to sign up by the score just to rec or unrec? It makes so much more sense for people who are actually supportive of the site to be the ones to decide what threads make it to the front page. Not a bunch of casual troublemakers.
