I actually got a mailer on this from my evil bank.

It sounds pretty consumer friendly and an accomplishment of the President.

1. I work at a bank.

They sent out e-mails to the employees asking us to call our representatives and ask them to vote against this bill.

Yeah... as if I would do such a stupid thing.

And I was really pissed that they would push their RW political views on their employees.

3. Not surprising anymore....

I worked for a major organization this past summer for about 4 months. By the 5th week of training they were damn near having tea bagger orientation! The Employee Free Choice Act was the thing they were so upset about. Gave a speech about the sneaky union people that might try and grab you in the parking lot and 'force' you to sign a card that will put you in a scary union! I had smoke coming out of my ears listening to that mess.

4. As soon as folks start to feel this admin's actions more,

things will calm down.

5. I think we need a win in November

A third consecutive defeat in an election where by all rights Republicans should come out at least a little ahead would give them some much-needed humility, I would think. Also if we could send a message to our blue dogs, that would be salutary.

Will our leftbaggers allow us another victory?

So even Blue Dogs and evil Lieberman must have been OK with it.
