He was brilliant..there's only one thing I thought wasn't right and that was when he refered to Janet Napolitano being wrong on her "the system worked" comment.

My understanding is that she was refering to what happened after the would be bomber was foiled and her comment was taken out of context.

I like that he's a stand up guy for the President and he'd debate any cheney if they weren't such chickenshits.

6. I've been thinking about Janet Napolitano

I have a very high regard for her. She is very sensible and methodical, not to mention completely decent as a human being. I think the immigration part and disaster recovery part of her job is right for her. I wonder, though, if the national security element needs somebody with real expertise in that area. It was on my mind earlier that maybe Homeland Security is just too all over the place and needs to be redesigned. I agree her comment was taken out of context.

7. Whatever happens I feel confident

that Pres Obama and his Team will make sure the communication is state of the art..all of us being really fortunate that the not so friendly reminder of this was thwarted where he stood.

Of course the slimeballs will use any hypocritical excuse to hope Americans forget what they did wrong and concentrate on how they want them to perceive that the Pres is not acting fast enough, yada yada yad.
