Poll question: If Chavez would sell the traitor stations to Fox, would that be fair and balanced?
Edited on Thu May-31-07 09:10 PM by billbuckhead
I won't shed a tear for any corporate media shut down almost anywhere around the world. I live in Atlanta Georgia where all I hear all day on all the public radio is reichwing corporate propaganda lying to me even on music stations. I have little sympathy for Chavez's media opponents.

I think many are forgetting the real enemy of truth and democracy.

1. I think starting A Venezeulan PBS/NPR would be the right thing to do

Invite American experts down to start it up. Pledge drives with a Latin beat. You know Shakira would do a benefit. Chavez can sucker his opponents into a public relations nightmare.

6. Tell me why it's "bullshit"
Edited on Thu May-31-07 10:00 PM by billbuckhead
In the long run it's not the programming he's canceling, it's what it gets replaced with that counts.

But anyhow, tell us why this poll is bullshit? Aren't these the actual choices? Have any suggestions?

4. Venezuela already has one publicly -owned TV station
Another one wouldn't be a bad thing, but I expect the broadcast license will be issued to another corporate entity that is more willing to adhere to the broadcast standards. If you don't know, RCTV had 652 violations of broadcasting rules since 2001.

5. I thought the Fox News/SKY TV crowd would be on this poll like a
red tailed hawk on an injured squirrel. And what about the watch CNN all day and bitch crowd?
