2. Clinton
Because getting a blowjob was so much more of a threat to national security than anything Bush has done. :sarcasm:

3. I look at it this way.
My dad, who's a pretty bright and discerning guy, was a Republican before Nixon. He was still a Republican after Nixon.

He isn't a Republican now. I know others who have reacted the same way. Most politicians have some ethical weaknesses. Bush is a criminal.

5. Nixon didn't really try to dismantle the whole foundation of the US government. HUGE difference.
Nixon did it for Nixon and his choice few.

7. Hard to say given that Bush is sitll in office

And that affects our opinions greatly, I think. Nixon was pretty blatant with his paranoia and desire for power. Gotta go with Bush. He has taken removing rights and causing death to a new high in low.

Edit-For a possibly insensitive remark.

8. I think people are shorting Nixon
I mean Bush only been in the federal Government for max 8 years. Nixon was horrible congress, then had a lot of power as Vice President getting us trapped into a pointless cold war with Cuba for 50 years. Then as President he killed more people than Bush in Asia, tried just as hard as Bush to gather as much power as he could. He was also way smarter than Bush. About the only thing that checked Nixon was the fact he had a hostle Congress throughout his Presidency. Once could only imagine Nixon with total control of Congress.

10. Nixon
Carpet-bombing Laos and Cambodia without Congressional approval or funding, despite being forced to promise that he would not do it. That was Nixon's crowning achievement; even Cheney would be green with envy.

9. No comparison. Nixon was just a bush-league player.
Dubya is the whole, entire Bush league.
