I just received this in an email from Take Back America's Future. It sounds like a good thing to try, and I thought you might be intrested in registering and posting your questions.
http://commonsense.ourfuture.org/weekend_watchdog_previewDoes Sunday TV talk turn your off? Are you tired of the softball questions and unchallenged misleading talking points? Are you ready to take back your media?
We're going to do something about it.
The Campaign for America's Future blog has partnered with the new Air America Radio show "Seder on Sundays" to present "Weekend Watchdog," where we will press the Sunday shows to ask the questions the people want answered.
Here's how it works.
On Friday, after the network shows announce their guests, we'll post suggested questions on our blog along with contact information for the shows. You can add your own questions in the blog's comment sections, and send your desired questions to the show producers directly.
Then on Sunday at 4 PM ET, I'll join Sam Seder on the air, and we'll find out if our questions were asked and answered, work to address them directly ourselves, and discuss how we push the Sunday shows to do a better job the following week. (Go to airamerica.com on Sunday at 4pm ET to listen online or find a station near you.)
If the networks hear from enough of us, we'll counter the intimidating pressure the media constantly gets from the conservative machine. The Sunday shows will realize what their audience really wants, that holding our representatives accountable will pay off in better ratings, and we'll finally get some tough, sharp questions on the air.
So every Friday afternoon and Saturday, check out the Weekend Watchdog post on our blog and help us reach the media. And every Sunday, tune in to "Seder on Sundays," and we'll hold the networks accountable.
See you on the blog!
Sincerely,
Bill Scher, Online Editor
