I understand your frustration, but it's all the more reason for us to take over the Democratic Party from the ground up.
I do not know what you're background in the Democratic Party is. Here's what you, as an individual Democrat, can do right here, right now, if you want to make a difference in how the Democratic Party does things. It's not exactly a secret, but it is amazing how few Democrats even try to do this, because this action can have a significant impact on the party from the ground up.
Ready for the secret? Here it is...
Become a precinct chair.
Precinct chairs are the front lines in the Democratic Party, the people who organize their neighborhood Democrats and get them to the rallies and the polls, the individuals who are standing at the point where the political wish-list meets community needs.
It may not change anything overnight, but if enough Democrats get motivated enough to become precinct chairs, there's no stopping what they can do.
Check with your county Democratic Party headquarters on how to become a precinct chair. If your precinct already has a Democratic chair, see if you can work with the chair on getting your fellow Democrats organized. If your precinct doesn't have a chair, then ask the folks at HQ how to throw your name in the hat.
Become a precinct chair. You'll be glad you did. Honestly.
Now get out there and start making stuff happen!
