Candidate by candidate brief rundown, (dissatisfied, NEED HELP)
Edited on Sun Jun-03-07 09:49 PM by StudentsMustUniteNow
Biden: Bankruptcy Bill, hawkishness
Clinton: DLC, war, corporate ties
Dodd: ?
Edwards: IWR, seems like he's just playing to the left to get traction though I could be wrong
Gravel: FairTax
Kucinich: Great stance on issues, poor persuasion skills, no traction (thanks to MSM)
Obama: DLC, free trade, amnesty, neoliberalism, bad debating skills (will fail miserably if he goes against Mittens or Black Lagoon)
Richardson: DLC, amnesty, free trade, bad speaking skills

Non-candidates:
Gore: NAFTA

Clark seems good. I guess I'm just too cynical or picky. I'll have to pick one of these men and women. I'm very progressive on economic issues. Whom should I vote for?

1. I'm still holding out for Gore. He is a very different man than 6 years ago.
After being what we've all been through I think he really gets it now and I doubt he is for NAFTA anymore. I could be wrong but right now I am hoping Gore gets in as I'm not excited about any of the others. The media seems to be all for Hillary tonight but if she gets the nomination they will allow the other side to rip her without calling them on the lies.

2. MAybe bcause it's only JUNE!!!!!! The other thing is,
I honestly we all have to recognize that we are NOT going to agree with ANY candidate on EVERYTHING! I believe if you did, you'd either be a robot or a Republican!

It's very very early. Take your time, watch all the additional debates and appearances that are aired on cspan and many other places, and then make your decision of who you feel would make the best President.

4. Give Kucinich Traction
Don't let the 'MSM', as you put it, take it away.

8. Hear hear!
I keep hearing people say they would like to support Kucinich, he's great on the issues, but he's not getting noticed. Well, notice him, give him some traction, help make him a force. This is the position that Clinton was in during '92.

6. Regarding the MSM and Kucinich
Obviously that "no foreign born" rule prevents it, but if Elizabeth were allowed to run instead (And judging by her speeches and beliefs, she could do it) you think the MSM would ignore her? I think not.

7. Elizabeth was born here
Teresa, Kerry's wife, also a great speaker, was not born here.
Otherwise, an Elizabeth Teresa ticket would be GREAT!
I liked them both very much when they were on the 2004 campaign trail.

11. Well! She is taller
and apparently, Merkans like tall candidates!
Lincoln was tall, but ugly, would he be electable today?
We need to vote for REAL Democrats and not DLCERs or Repug-lite!
