Best luck Senator.

Sometimes we need to show why we're Democrats, I hope everyone else feels the same way.

28. A VERY Impressive Record, That
The 0% APHA rating pretty much sums it up. And now, some good old King James - today's reading is from Galations 6, verse 7 -
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

but I wish him and his family the best.

Is MSM gleefully discussing permutations as they did when Tim Johnson had a stroke. Perhaps this time they'll show some more class. I bet they do.

25. I hope they do, the last thing that should be considered is
politics at times like these. I hope the vultures don't start circling, and that includes members of our party.

21. Gov. Freudenthal
would have to choose a replacement from one of three names chosen by the political party of the incumbent.

29. State law requires he appoint a Republican
State GOP gives him three possible choices, he chooses one. So all that means is we'll get the least rabid wingnut, which is still something to be happy about I guess, since it eliminates the possibility of Sen. Barbara Cubin.

20. Why should anyone be nervous asking about AIDS at a democratic forum?
I'm sure a board like DU can handle questions and discussions about AIDS in a mature way.

18. I sent him a get well note when he was diagnosed...and received
a responding email...I was surprised, really...I hope he beats the infection...my aunt has chronic Leukemia...she has to be careful, she goes for blood transfusions about once a month, and gets along pretty good the rest of the time...infection, is the scary part...I wish Senator Thomas Good Luck...we may not have the same politics...but there comes a time to put it aside and consider the human factor...I am sorry to hear this..

24. Oh, dear, that poor man; and I'd been hoping he'd fully recover
since he seemed to be doing better lately. My best friend went through this, and I know what he and his family are suffering now, how sad. I hope he recovers and that he and his family are given the strength and courage to deal with it.
