MANCHESTER — Ray Buckley, the New Hampshire Democratic Party chair, said he was going to make one thing very clear when he spoke with NBC today about the September debate.
"You're going to hear for sure that I'm going to discuss with them who's the moderator so it's certainly a much more fair and equal playing field than what we saw tonight," he said after Sunday night's debate.
Buckley, experiencing his first home-state debate as party chair, lamented how CNN ran parts of the debate.
"Certainly it was not the traditional New Hampshire style of debate where every candidate had an equal amount of time," he said. "And I think Sen. (Chris) Dodd should not be very happy with the performance of Wolf Blitzer," the CNN moderator.
