Capitalism is often rationalized as "economic Darwinism." And in some ways they're right. The few on the top feed on the the many at the bottom. Without the sweat, labor, heartache and misery of the lower classes, the machine grinds to a halt for the exploitative.

However, when the prey realize the strength of their numbers, anything is possible.

This is what makes populism such a heady elixir.

I've tried twice before and couldn't make it. I must admit I was able to watch a little bit more the second time so maybe the third time will be a go

edit to add: nothing like a happy ending and brother that is one happy ending, awesome. The Calf is probably scarred for life both mentally and physically but it has life thanks to his groups saving him

16. What imagery! This is my interpretation....

The calf represents America, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, Habeas Corpus, etc.
The lions are those members of the three Branches of our government that subscribe to the ideals of the PNAC
The crocodiles represent the corporations that corrupt the politicians.
The herd of water buffalo are us, you and I, We the People.

When the calf was attacked, it was with its' immediate family. The two adult buffalo instinctively fled. They communicated with the rest of the herd what had occurred and drew up a plan of action. Meanwhile, the crocs want the calf but the lions want it all for themselves. How brilliant to surround the lions and pick them off one by one.

There are many lessons that Mother Nature teaches us if we only stop to watch and listen.
