What is Brian ROSS doing moonlighting with O'LOOFAH off of ABC News?
Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 09:08 AM by UTUSN
Since I am a network expat, I am barely familiar with the "stars" there, but because of the recent ditching of the madam's black book story, ROSS had entered my consciousness.

And there he was last night on the O'LOOFAH circus, being led around by the nose by O'LOOFAH, about how the Shrub mal-administration is in possession of definite proof regarding Iran's "killing our soldiers in Iraq," but (committing treason?) by not making the proof public in "a huge press conference."

ROSS had on his network-correspondent-gravitas look, but mostly said "Uh-huh" to O'LOOFAH's monolog, with O'LOOFAH orgasming the way he always does when he has gotten some "name" to come to him and jump through his hoops.

Why would ABC allow this? And over months, O'LOOFAH has been drumbeating for ABC over CBS/NBC as being "objective" and therefore zooming in the ratings.

Oh, and O'LOOFAH couldn't believe that the Shrub mal-admin was not trumpeting their "evidence" because O'LOOFAH claims that the American public NEEDS this information in order to "vote appropriately." O.K., TRANSLATION of the SPIN:: "make appropriate voting decisions" in O'LOOFAH-ese means "voting Rethug---uh!!1 I mean, 'INDEPENDENT!!1' "

The story behind ABC News' improbable rise
Commentary: Less is more in the network's smart, old-school approach

.... ABC News also has gained a high profile from scoops generated by chief investigative reporter Brian Ross. "He has the instincts of an investigative reporter -- curiosity and skepticism," according to Westin. ....

He said that his greatest satisfaction stemmed from pairing Gibson and Sawyer on "Good Morning America." His biggest disappointment centered on conversations he had had with Jennings before the U.S. invasion in 2003.

"Peter said, 'Don't count on WMDs.' I said, 'Peter, I guarantee you, there are WMDs.' I regret not listening to him."

If Westin could do it over again, he said: "I'd assign Brian Ross to investigate the WMDs." ....
