Is Pace the one who said homosexuality was not compatible with the military? If so then perhaps Ted Kennedy told Bush to can him, and since Bush takes his orders from The Swimmer, he complied.

Well he is aganist gays openly serving in the military. He is a heretic and bigot. Surly you know that will kill your career now more than beating your wife. He is unPC and a man of intregrity.

The real reason the libs don't like Pace is because a while back, he stated that he believes that open homosexuals don't belong in the military.

I'm glad these politicians think that pandering to sexual deviants is more important than good order and discipline in the military.

Unfortunately, the libs don't care much about the latter, and the homosexuals are one of the Democrats' most solid constituency groups.

Yep. And the rats then took heat from a huge portion of their base (the sodomites) and let Gates know that they would have to drag Pace through the mud in order to placate them.
