Front page, right at the top, Gannett-owned Honolulu Advertiser (print edition).
The story is about the immigration bill, of course. But why not "Immigration deal near collapse" or something? The headline a) is clearly meant to tear down the Dem Congress, and b) doesn't have anything to do with the story below it. That's what a headline is supposed to do, morans!
The sad thing is, the 'Tiser used to be far the more Dem-leaning of our two dailies, even under Gannett ownership, while the Star-Bulletin read like a parody of the newspaper headlines in James Michener's Hawaii. Now, just as the S-B is mellowing out under new, non-Big Five ownership, the 'Tiser is turning into a corporate cat box liner. :puke:
