Paris Hilton is being treated like a goddamn pingpong ball
Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 02:45 PM by Bluebear
OK, I thought her release showed perfectly the reality of two Americas . . .but now that she WAS released, it does not seem right that the judge is now ordering her back.

She is annoying and cloying, but she is a human being, not merchandise to be shuffled around.

edit note: OK, OK, uncle. I didn't suggest we make a cake with a file in it and spring her.

1. Really? So, since she got out for faking something, now she should stay out?

13. Nobody.
I said yesterday, send her to the prison clinic and give her some ativan.

But it's not her fault that the celebrity-awed sheriff let her out.

While this is true, the reality is that she is going to pay for his incompetence, and maybe the people of LA County need to get their heads out of their butts if this guy runs for office again!!!!

But then again that may be asking for too much!!!

facility-- doesn't speak well for their medical capacity for other inmates, if they couldn't treat whatever was supposedly inflicting Paris, now, does it? :eyes:

I'm sure they would have so much in common....LOL

Don't get me wrong, Bluebear... I see what you are saying which sort of is reminiscent of "double jeopardy," but I think most believe that she is an active manipulating actor in all this and thus may deserve the backfire that has resulted. Particularly when the party supplier truck pulled up and one of the reporters confirmed she'd planned a party for tonight...:eyes:

how a lot of people live?

Damn.

It's not like they are going to kill her and eat her liver.

Sit in your damn cell, watch TV, and make little hash marks on the wall to count the days.

Sorry, but that young woman has been so sheltered and is so out of touch with real people that all my bleeding heart can do at this point is laugh. I'll save my sympathy for people who were actually wronged by the justice system.

.... some blonde ditz with more money than brains breaks the law, then whines and expects special treatment (good grief she didn't get 25 to life), tries to pull a scam to get out of the slammer and then has a hissy fit because it didn't work and she has to go back. $5 days - geeeez, take it like an adult, ferchrissakes.

Don't you see, she would have ended up with an even greater contempt for the law than
that which caused her to be sentenced to that prison term in the first place.

Is compassion compassion, if it so thoroughly misguided?

Her and her family's OVERREACTION to this is just breathtaking.

She's behaving like a toddler throwing a tantrum, and I find it disgusting (not funny).

No, I'm sure jail isn't fun. But she has to suffer the consequences--pretty damn light consequences--of her actions.

The sheriff still had custody of her. How he disposed of her was improper and in violation of the judge's order.

just as the Jacksons have done.

My son suggests Dubai.

Paris doesn't deserve this treatment. My gawd, Laura Bush killed a man and didn't even merit a traffic citation.

Equal justice?

She paid for the person and they would have said anything she wanted. He said she was having a nervous breakdown and when the judge just sent her back to jail it was because he got NO medical documents showing she was sick...

why?? because I believe it was all a big lie to stay out of jail...of course she will cry...shit she has never probably been disciplined in her life.

Paris a few years back? Right before the famous video hit the 'nets?

"She's a good girl". :eyes:

Yuppers. That is almost verbatim. And her behavior since then has only gotten worse. I blame Kathy and Rick Hilton for this, actually. If they'd ever say 'no' to that little twit, maybe she wouldn't be in jail.

Not that that was her fault. All things considered I don't even blame her for trying. However, if she were to be left out, for no reason other than the fact that she's who she is, it would not be fair to all the others who do have to serve their time.

A lot of people were angry over her being released. Let's hope the DA decides to dish some justice on the sheriff responsible for this mistake.
