If the capitulation cost them this much, I have to wonder how much a party line vote or even stone-walling would have cost?

Apparently, we, the commoditized crowd of disaffected, identified, and now pigeon holed are not worth even a futile political stand. They treated us like Bush treats the military. Now the survivors with bus tracks on our backs stagger up and dutifully sing "Hail to the Dems"? We are bought and paid for and we're not going anywhere else to vote. Fuck them.
