My CHOICE maintains my sanity.

I told that little being who appeared in my dreams, "WHAT, ARE YOU, FUCKING NUTS?" It was MY CHOICE to allow him to convince me to let him through. If I had known then what I know now, neither he, nor his brother would be on this g_dforsaken planet. That it was MY CHOICE sustains my life force and ability to carry on, finding ever new energy and ways to deal with our current circumstances. Were I not able to say clearly, I CHOSE THIS, you would certainly NOT be reading this post. Nor would anyone give a flying rat's ass.

2. It's not their fault that things suck.
And yeah, it was your choice, regardless of what he said.

When they came to be, you lost your right to put yourself first and gripe about how you feel, because the kids come first.

That's how it is for me and my wife, and that's as it should be. You want to be footloose and fancy free? Don't have kids.

I love mine and don't regret having them for a second. In few decades, I'll be dust anyway.

It seems like you're having a rough time of it. Sorry for that. Hopefully, someday, those kids will come through for you when you need help or love or just company.

3. WOW!!!
:wow: Two replies from two men. One telling me to forego my carrot juice and another telling me I'm no longer a human being once I've gone through childbirth. :freak:

7. I didn't say you were no longer human
And neither parent ever gets to come first once kids come into the picture.

My grandma would have told you the same thing.

In fact she's the one who told me.

I'm sorry if you were unaware that the world is a grim place and that raising kids is really tough before you chose to have kids.

I just hope your kids don't read your posts here and feel unwanted, because yes, their feelings and well-being are more important than yours, just as my kids' are more important than mine.

Somehow, I imagine that even if you hadn't chosen to have kids, you'd still find something to gripe about.

5. Was This Supposed To Mean Something?

And yeah yeah yeah, I know I'm another man blah blah blah, but I fail to see how gender makes a difference in understanding what in the world the beneficial message of this thread is supposed to be. It was quite strange and enigmatic in its tone.

cake and eat it too. They want choice, but don't want the responsiblity of that choice.

I still fully support a women's choice, but I struggle with the glee with which some women justify their choice.
