1. Their status may have dropped a little

since the high hopes of Nov 06 have crashed somewhat. Peace? Universal Health Care? Impeachment? No, No, and No.

Other than that, Dems got the nice offices, so that's a "win" I guess.

2. We say the same thing

When the Democrats fail to reflect our whims, it starts with "Democrats cave" and Democrats are weak" and quickly progresses to "TRAITORS! WHORES!".

Joe and Pat have their own spin. It's transparent. They are on TV to satisfy the whims of the GE/NBC execs. But they have been chronic thorns in the side of Bush & Co., and that part's fine with me.
