Enough of "Symbolic" Dem Votes on Capitol Hill. Stop Acting Like Your Guilty of Something and Take Back the Power.

Why is it that the Dems walk around like they are guilty of something,
when they have the goods on the Bush Administration right in front of them?

The Republicans break the law and feel no guilt; the Dem leaders observe the law and act as if they have just committed a murder.

It’s not about fighting words; it’s about fighting until you’ve run out of ammo.

Then, you might see a little bit of fear in the eyes of Bush, Cheney and Rove.

But for now, the gruesome threesome are still sitting on top of the world, hardly intimidated by a group of Democrats who won’t even serve a subpoena, let alone end a war, impeach a law-breaking, perjured attorney general, or start the wheels in motion to hold Cheney and Bush accountable for high crimes and misdemeanors.

The American electorate decided last November that they must do something about the failed war and gave the Democrats control of both houses of Congress. However, the Democrats have decided that it is easier to be complicit in war crimes than to represent the wishes of the electorate and hold a rogue president accountable.

2. The Dems in Congress want Bush and Cheney to stay...
They believe it enhances their chances in the next election. And that's what really counts doesn't it?

3. Please tell me how each member of congress would vote on impeachment.
I want to know how each and every member would vote were it to come to a vote. You seem to know something we all don't, so please, tell me where the 66 votes in the Senate would come from.

6. How come republicans did not have 60 votes
in the senate and they managed to move legislation on to the floor. What's wrong with the democrats that they can't.

8. Elect more of them and they will have all of the ability everyone is looking for
But, this is more whining about impeaching somebody isn't it? Like that would get anything done.

By the way, there are plenty of ways for Congress to fulfill their responsibilities for oversight and accountability which don't rise to the level of impeachment. Those efforts are well underway.

Thanks 'Rense' for adding to the angst. I can't help but wonder who's really behind some of the handwringing and apathy directed toward our Democrats, besides, of course those of us who are truly 'concerned'. :eyes:
