I just saw a bumper sticker: "Another Virginian for Bush-Quayle"
Edited on Tue Jun-12-07 11:36 AM by Perky
Now I suppose the car was old enough for it to have been placed there in 1992....but the sticker looked clean and new.

So my head is just spinning with ideas?

Jeb Bush and Dan Quayle?

Papa Bush and Dan Quayle the reprise?

It actually was from 1992 or maybe even from 1988?

:wtf: :freak:

It just hurt my head.

1. Garaged car?
Did you see a head behind the steering wheel or just hands reaching up?

5. If I came across a bumper sticker that said "Keep Cool with Coolidge"
I'd put it on my car.

Make of that what you will.

6. The Nixon Library sells all sorts of “retro” Republican campaign stickers.
some of them are obviously intended to be jokes, but there out there.

7. Maybe a slyly disquised sexual innuendo?
when I was young girls were often called 'quail'. So wanting 'bush - quayle' could be ...?
Or maybe the guy wanted to hunt with the Cheney. You know - in the Bush for Quayle?

9. Could it be a Cheney hunting reference?
I know that's far-fetched.

10. saw it again today
And really was tempted to yroll down the window and ask the question.

But then I realized I still have a 2004 Keery-edwards bumpersticker on the back of my care which I really gotta replace .

12. I saw one too, the other day
But this WAS of vintage so I didn't think much of it. I did think, though, that it was an odd sight after all these years.
