A Wonderful Thing Happened Last Night!
I was at the 8th grade graduation at my wife's school. It was a lovely but sad evening since this is the last year for her school, which has been honorably serving the children of Augusta, Maine for 119 years. The kids in this last 8th grade class are really good kids whom my wife enjoyed teaching and whom had a lot of fun being taught by her!

Anyway, every year there is a letter from the sitting president presenting a presidential certificate of excellence to the kids who maintained at least an 85 average all year. The 7th grade
girl ( the school's 8th grade graduations are always emcee'd by a 7th grader) read president moron's letter to a group of Catholic school parents, family, friends and community members. Of course she read it to the students at the same time.

There was NOT ONE SINGLE CLAP after she read the letter nd said dip-shit's name.

When I clapped for the students, my son (a very smart 7 year old) asked why I was clapping for **. I told him that I was clapping for the STUDENTS, and not the moron. A parent sitting in the pew in front of me turned around and nodded her head in agreement.

What a wonderful surprise. I had expected that even in this very blue state, some kool-aid drinker would be present or that someone would feel a mis-placed obligation to "respect the office".

What a WONDERFUL moment.

Gee, I wonder how faux would have covered that!

1. I had to read your first sentence twice...
..."I was at the 8th grade graduation at my wife's school."

My first thought was "he is married to an 8th grader???"

Good to hear that nobody clapped their hands for that idiot. What a punishment for the 7th grader to have to read the moron's letter.

2. 2 Points Of Agreement!
1. I felt sorry for the 7th grader. She's a REALLY great kid!

2. I may be a cradle robber, but I'm not THAT BAD! Heck, I'm not even a fundie!

PEACE!
