Since we seem to be doing hypotheticals tonight, I thought I would throw my hat into the ring.

So, what do you think, does the fact that your country imprisons more people than any other in the world concern you?

1. It's really quite revealing how few people are willing to discuss the issue

Of America being the land of incarceration.

I get the same reaction every time I raise the issue, everyone studiously ignores it.

Lots of posts about abortion, very few to none about incarceration.

It's clear where DU's priorities lie..

2. It would depend on the details of the pro and anti aspects.

Are we talking all drugs? Or just good ol'marijuana, the largest cash crop in America?
