Ugh! The praying * head in the ad makes me want to spew
Of all the stupid ads that have appeared on these pages, this newest praying * makes me never want to read DU again (well, THAT won't happen, but I feel like it). Anyone else feel the same? I cannot BEAR that sanctimonious, unctious, public piety.

2. Is he praying?
Or is he just contemplating his navel?

3. Are you sure he's praying? To me he looks like he's
making a great effort not to pass gas. But we know he's a great fan of flatulence (being the urbane sophisticate that he is), so maybe he's working hard to rip one.

4. Yes but look at the book it is advertising!
"A Tragic Legacy" is the first true character study of one of the most controversial men ever to hold the office of president. Enlightening, powerful, and eye-opening, this is an in-depth look at the man whose incapability and cowboy logic have left America at risk.

6. I hate that picture, but even more, I hate what the RW fundies have
made it out to imply, i.e. that Bush is a man of God. :puke:

7. It's amusing how so many fundies, when praying
look like incredibly constipated people trying to take a crap. It's as if they think that god will hear their prayers better if they concentrate really hard, as evidenced by their scrunched up faces. What it actually is is a big charade of "I'm so righteous and holy, look how hard I pray". :eyes:

8. Ohhhh! THAT Picture! Is THAT what he's doing?
I thought it was a picture of him bowing his head in Shame (it could be that too, if he had any shame).

Think of it like that and it might help.
