The Middle East is Burning - haven't Bush and Condi done a great job?
Edited on Fri Jun-15-07 10:40 AM by leftyladyfrommo
Lets see. War in Afghanistand and civil war in Iraq. Fighting in Lebanon. Civil war in Gaza and the West Bank. Iran has nukes and is threatening to use them to wipe out Israel. And who knows what Syria is up to.

Don't we have just the best team and the best State Department in the world?

Is there actually anything they have done in the last 6 years - besides let everything simply go to hell in a hand basket.

3. I don't understand why they just sat back and did absolutely nothing
in the Israel Palestine conflict. They just did nothing. For six yearsl.

2. I think it would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a more inept,
unqualified, irresponsible group of people than the ones we now have occupying our government.

In addition to these faults, they're corrupt, liars, and hypocrites.

Really, if you attempted to find a worse group than we now have, would it be possible?

4. Well maybe the mob bosses that ran Kansas City under
Pendergast might have been worse.

5. We got so used to a lightweight President that the lightweight Secretary of State somehow
doesn't seem shocking enough to build demand for her removal. But she's at about the 25th percentile in skills necessary for the job, and what little momentum she can muster in the right direction is held back by her moronic boss's beady-eyed visions of Armageddon.

We're really screwn.

7. Maybe they didn't actually threaten to use the nukes - but
they certainly have made a lot of comments about wiping out Israel here lately. Just wiping them off the map.

16. She is probably out buying shoes again.
Seriously, it doesn't seem to matter where she is because she accomplishes nothing.

13. Thank you thank you for posting this!
Condi was such an enormous success as National Security Advisor ("The 8/6/01 PDB was in a historical context") that * appointed her to read & interpret documents & communicate with world leaders for PEACE. And look at the disasters! I used to demand that she stop shopping for shoes & go do something in the Middle East. I truly apologize. She's a diplomatic/security nightmare.

If we sent her to Albania, two weeks later even THEY would declare war on us.

he wants his song back.

Unfortunately Bush hasn't caused any of the fundamental problems, nor will anyone not named Bush solve them.

It is absolutely a disgrace.

18. IRAN DOES NOT HAVE NUKES, SO STOP SAYING THAT IT DOES.
The rest of it is part of the Neocon plan to divide and conquer the Middle East.

19. The neocons didn't like the previous status quo in the ME
so they've dealt themselves a new hand. So a million people die in the process - so what?
