2. cheney is only looking out for cheney
if libby goes to jail he'll have a lot of time to think about telling the truth, a truth which most likely won't have so bad an effect on "other bush advisors." cheney is evil incarnate. He doesn't give a fuck about libby only his own sorry chickenhawk ass.
