Guess what visionary said "None of us like war; people suffer from it."
Why, the same Mr Lieberman who said today, "So what I'm saying is, if we knock out a base of theirs, if we have to do that, at which they're training these terrorists, yes, they may respond. But look, they're already on the move against us, and they're killing people as a result of it. I hope this is not necessary."

Thank you for clarifying. Notice how in all his tremendous prescience he is somehow able to predict that if we start bombing Iranian bases on Iranian soil they "may respond."

Yes, but how, how may they respond? A stern lecture? A UN resolution? Large peaceful protests asking us not to do it again? Perhaps a vicious media campaign calling us the Grandmother of All Great Satans?

What stern chastisement do you think the Iranians might unleash on us in the astronomical chance that anyone looks to Joe Lieberman for real world military advice? (hint: on the linked page, search for the world "counter-attack")

1. It's nothing less than a tragedy that this man was re-elected.
I hope that more Senate Democrats are elected in 08 - and as a consequence - they strip "holy Joe" of all his seniority and committee assignments. To me, he's no Democrat.

2. Agreed - I wanna see him kicked to the curb in the most humiliating way possible.
It's small-minded, I admit, but Lieberturd sure brings it out in a person.
