Sometimes I pity the people that work at Free Speech TV
They often air call-in messages about their programming. They just had three of the worst, dumbest, stereotypical retarded KKK member calls I have ever heard.

"Get out of my country!"

"Why don't you have Coulter , Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Savage on your shows? You're not for free speech!"

"Why do you hate the Constitution?"

"The only group discriminated against in this country is white male conservatives!"

Apparently the astroturfing groups run by Karl Rove have just heard of Free Speech TV, and are going to work on blasting the hell out of them now. I pity the guy that has to check for messages from these retards.

1. Yeah, they hate free speech. That's why they never air the wingnuts' hateful comments.
:eyes:

It just means they're doing something right. :-)

2. No kidding! Let's see FOX air some conflicting comments occasionally!
Damned gutsy of Free Speech to do that, IMO, and just shows that they are more fair and balanced then the KKKNaziWhitePowerStalinist assholes that bitch about how they're not getting their way anymore.

I don't mind them looking foolish.

5. Keep in mind who has access to FSTV.

The only people that can get that channel, as I understand it, is subsribers to DishTV.

Which automatically reduces the possible viewers.

Then you look at who can afford a dish subscription in the first place, this skews the viewers into higher income brackets, which makes it an even smaller subset of possible viewers.

So then you split that remaining group into three pieces. 1) People who know its there and watch it. 2) People who don't know it's there, and then 3) People who found it, and it doesn't jive with their philosophy and they get vocal about it.

However, if you're right, and it's astroturf, then it is probably people from group 4) people who have been told to call some number and complain.

I have DirecTV so I don't get FSTV, just LinkTV. Link is awesome, but whenever I'm at my mom&dad's place, I watch FSTV to catch up. :-)

6. I have DISH
DISH is cheaper than cable. You can get basic for about $26/mo and with local channels about $30/mo. Free Speech tv and Link Tv and CSPAN 1 and 2 make it worth it. If you have DirectTV you should switch to DISH. If you watch TV you must have something so everybody pays for something. Disclosure: Do not work for DISH, just a customer.

7. I got DirecTV when I did because of the NHL package.
That's when I found out about LinkTV. I had never heard of it until then.

Then I saw FSTV at my folks' place. So I am definitely considering the switch.

8. Well, what gets me about it...
is that FSTV always airs viewer comments. Most of the time they're pretty positive. All at once there's a wave of not only negative comments, but DUMBASS negative comments. It looks like a concerted effort.
