1. I've always wondered if that was real or edited.

It looks a little photoshopped in the vicinity of the finger but I wouldn't put it past George to flip off someone in public. In fact, I'm convinced that he did it when he was walking into some building with Denny Hastert. The footage was blurry but stopping it at the right point made it pretty clear that he was giving the press the bird, as he walked away.
