Man, even the guys from MST3k knew that Iraq was a bad idea
So I'm watching MST3k's viewing of "The Deadly Bees". It aired in 1998, three years before 9/11. Ralph Hargrove, an unhappy beekeeper on a British island, is asked by an old friend to provide a couple of weeks of R&R for a young pop singer named Vicki Robbins. Vicki is talking to Ralph about meeting Ralph's neighbor, Manfred. Mike, Tom Servo, and Crow are watching the movie in the theatre.

Ralph: I realize you don't know much about life here on the island, but may I suggest you take my advice and don't repeat your visit... (strangly long pause)

Tom Servo: Comma...

Ralph: ... to Mr. Manfred.

Tom Servo: Period.

Ralph: It's dangerous to involve yourself in matters you don't understand.

Mike (as Vicki): What would I ever do then?

Vicki: Like what?

Ralph: Like, um...

Crow: Iraq! (all three chuckle)

Ralph: ...bees, Miss Robbins.

See, even a homemade robot with a bowling pin for a nose knew that Iraq was a dangerous place to get involved in!

Thanks for the reminder. From now on, I will refer to the International Space Station exclusively as the "Satellite of Love." Why? Because we now know why the Russian computers failed. They used those "special parts" to make their robot friends.

10. wow, only $3 for your very own riff mp3 on a movie?
Hell, that's very tempting.

Hmmmm... with a RCA plug splitter/combiner, I could plug my iPod Nano into the audio inputs of my TV, so that the riff combined with the DVD soundtrack to come out of the speakers.

They have current movies, too, like Casino Royale.

9. Yup, season 9, episode 5 or 6, I believe
It's about 24 minutes into the show if you want to hear it.

What's truly funny is that Crow said it just as I thought it!
