The local news this morning reported that domestic terrorist militia groups from around the country are gathering on this man's property.
I suppose that Bush's remaining 28% approval will dip even further if he were to start firing at the members of his political base:

According to the jury, over the past decade, the couple also used more than $215,000 of postal money orders to pay for their hilltop compound and for Elaine Brown's dental offices.
A jury also found that Elaine didn't pay adequate taxes for her practice's employees, all of which lead to a total of 17 felony convictions.
According to local newspapers, since Edward Brown heard of the verdict in the middle of an interview with a radio station, he has since stayed in his wooded, 110-acre home -- which features a watchtower that offers 360-degree views of the rural setting -- and all the while quoting the state’s official motto, "Live free or die.”

In the meanwhile, Ed Brown, a retired exterminator, has stayed home to protest the system that he has said has already convicted him.
And during the past few decades, Brown has claimed membership in several anti-government and militia groups.More:

The right tax verdict: Payment not optional
Concord Monitor staff

Edward and Elaine Brown, the Plainfield couple who have not paid federal income taxes for nearly a decade, are right to hate the U.S. tax code.
Like a coral reef, the 20,000-plus-page code was built by accretion. It is the incomprehensible product of some well-meaning attempts to direct social policy and many self-serving efforts by politicians to reward friends for personal or political gain.
But even though the tax code is an abomination, it's also the law.
The Browns, who were convicted yesterday of numerous counts of tax evasion, broke that law repeatedly and now must suffer the consequences. In Ed Brown's case, we hope the consequences don't include paying with his life. We especially hope he or his supporters, in defense of their views, don't take the lives of anyone else.
As we write, the retired exterminator and a small group of people who agree with his position are holed up at his Plainfield home. Attempts to remove him, Brown warns, will result in a shootout. Elaine Brown surrendered before the verdict and was ordered not to return home. Law enforcement agencies are negotiating with Brown and reportedly have no plans to assault his fortified house.

Couple face conspiracy charges
A husband-and-wife pair of self-described militia members from Plainfield was arrested yesterday and charged with evading more than half a million dollars in federal income taxes.
Elaine A. Brown, a dentist with a practice in Lebanon, was indicted in New Hampshire U.S. District Court on charges of tax evasion, conspiracy, disguising large financial transactions and failing to collect employment taxes from her employees, a total of 21 felonies. Her husband, Edward Lewis Brown, was indicted on charges of conspiracy and hiding financial transactions, eight felonies total. Both Browns pleaded not guilty at their arraignments yesterday.
Bill Morse, the assistant United States attorney handling the case, said that he believed Edward Brown was "heavily armed and dangerous" and should be held without bail until the couple's trials in July. He described the badge Brown wears as a national commander of The Constitutional Rangers of the Continental Congress of 1777 and the 35 guns that Brown says he owns. Morse said recent improvements to the Browns' home made it "essentially a fortress." He also repeated a series of inflammatory statements that Brown has made to newspaper reporters, local police officers and FBI agents who have interviewed him.
"He believes the federal government is plotting to take all of our freedoms away," Morse said
