Nominating HRC, will bring every rightwingnut out in droves...
I know, because my inlaws fit the category.

Their hatred of her and Bill (which compounds the matter)is unrelenting and is equal to, if not greater than, our hatred of GWB.

Why in the world would we want a candidate with lightning rod negatives at the start? Why not pick someone that can start as close to a ground zero hatred level as possible??

1. Every rigntwingnut is going to come out no matter who we nominate.
Better, maybe, to smoke them out early and keep them in plain sight.

7. You are so right - It is so lame to consider that a large segment
of the voting population detests the candidate you may nominate. :sarcasm:

16. Including her own party. Now if that isn't fucked up I don't know what is.
You're a Clark supporter. Just know that she respects Clark. There is a good chance that Clark will be her runningmate.

3. I like that, "smoke them out early." I respectfully disagree - my
evidence - they didn't come out in droves on 11-06.

4. Clark supporter here, but I cannot imagine
any democratic candidate being off the "conservative" hate radar. They are like a pack of wild dogs. If limbaugh or hannity or one of their other handlers tells them to attack a different candidate they will willingly comply. The only plus I see for Clinton here is I doubt very seriously she will back down from any swiftboat action. I do not believe there is a zero hate level in the body and soul of a "conservative" in 21st century America.

10. That's the point - they will generate a whole new batch of hate
during the election. Thus,

Other Candidate: No hate + New Batch of Hate
HCR: Big Batch of Hate + New Batch of Hate = Whole shitload of hate

would be a good president, they should vote for her.

They're making up crap about Obama, should people not vote for him?

Go back and read what the Chicago Tribune and the Hearst papers wrote about FDR. I'm glad people voted for him anyway.

8. Meanwhile, some figure as obscure as Carter or Clinton
were two years before each was elected will emerge from under the radar to take the nomination.

That's been the pattern in many elections, and it may hold true again.

13. Hmmm.. caring that someone is intensely hated by many, many
people is a 'piss poor" reason for not nominating?

22. I don't like her either, but you know what
I haven't found the need to start post after post bashing her with right wing bullshit. Same thing people did against Kerry DURING the 2004 campaign, and then turned around and blamed him for not answering the bullshit THEY were spreading.

When are we going to stop this shit.

26. I respect your opinion - but - if we don't call attention to the
negatives now of her election, then when? when she's nominated? I am not faulting her policies one iota. I think she would make a great president, although not my first choice. My only point is that we should be smart about who we put up. No sense in starting in the hole before the game begins?

23. These people are not going to vote for a Democratic candidate
anyway. Why ever consider what they want? These kool-aid drinkers would hate anyone reasonable. It is time to stop letting them control. They've had their 20 years in the sun, but now they have gone too far. Catering to them is over for this country.

is that right wingers will come out specifically to vote against Hillary when otherwise they might have just stayed home.
