Why are the "Forward" and "Back" buttons on the top left side of the screen and not the right side?
Given that most are right handed, it would be a quick slide of the mouse up instead of across.

6. That's because kitchen cabinets are designed and built mostly

by men. So what is reachable for them isn't for most women. Just another thing we need to win some rights on :-). Also, why aren't appliances on legs so you can clean under them. I finally got a stove that is easy to clean and reach under and around the burners. I looked up the designers and there were women involved. Men, who don't do the majority of the cleaning never think of those things.

9. Bingo, don't get me started. Also what about women's rest rooms.

Always a long line.
No room to get into a stall with a purse and a child.
And no room for women to comb their hair and wash their hands.

Only a male sadist could have designed them.

16. I have the opposite complaint

The cabinets are good, but the counters are too low. They hit me at thigh level, so I get a backache when working for more than 15 minutes. Dishes go straight in the washer because leaning over to reach them in the sink is a nightmare on my back and shoulders.

When I'm rich I'll have all my counters raised to a comfortable height.:D

11. Adapt or die. I learned that as a kid who had to adapt to right-handed

scissors, teevee knobs, can openers, and handwriting flow (ending in an ink-stained hand). And a right-handed mouse in the mid-80s.

Whether I move my pointer to the top left or top right of my screen, it's the same effort, distance and inconvenience. What in the world would this have to do with being right or left handed?

13. A left handed person would have his mouse pad on the left side

of his desk. Hence, a slight motion up would reach the forward or back button. This person would not have to draw back the mouse to allow for additional roll to reach these buttons. Maybe its just me....

14. I'm Sorry, But It Doesn't Make Sense To Me. I Either Have To Move My Mouse Diagonally Up-Left For

an inch and a half or so, or diagonally up-right for an inch and a half or so. Are you saying that some people don't have two inches clearance on both sides of their mouse? Maybe that's why I'm not understanding, since I do.

15. Use an Orbit TrackBall instead of a mouse.

I've never used a mouse with any computer I've owned. Waste of energy when I can zoom all over the screen with the motion of one finger, right and left click with ring finger and thumb respectively. Taking notes I can use it lefthanded to free up my right.
