A former Winston-Salem minister was arrested in Wake County on Friday on charges that he had sexual relationships with two boys.
The Rev. Rodney Keith Boothe, 39, was affiliated with the Greater Church of Deliverance on North Cherry Street when he was involved in sexual relationships with the boys, court papers said.
Boothe has been charged with numerous counts of statutory rape, indecent liberties and related charges. He was moved from Raleigh to Winston-Salem yesterday and was being held in the Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $10 million.

Alvin Marshall, the chief operating officer of Greater Church of Deliverance, said that Boothe is no longer affiliated with the church.
“He was at one time, a period of time ago,” Marshall said. “Those allegations and accusations - none of it occurred at our church. While he was a part of our church, it did not occur.”
