16. Did you see the documentary Some Kind of Monster?

Good movie - and it really demonstrated how far they've fallen from their heyday. Maybe they need to be broke to be angry enough to be any good. There's a really good scene with Lars' father (who rocks by the way). He listened to one of their new tracks and told them it was so bad they should just delete the entire thing :rofl:

11. Lars is the biggest prick of Metallica (story below)...

I read that Lars was trying to think of a name for the band, and a friend of his said "I'm going to pick Metallica for my own band name." Lars convinced him not to, arguing that it was a crappy name, and then used Metallica for his own band name.

I'm not too fond of Lars. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.
