Some of what I believe strongly in
Impeachment, irregardless of the outcome. If we don't attempt to stop these traitors now we are in for many more to come in the near future, as is said, it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the whole barrel. Its one of the safeguards in our constitution that many people trust and believe in, I know I do. I realize at the moment we don't have the votes or seems like the time but it is one thing we so much need to do because it is the right thing to do. Many high crimes and misdemeanors have been committed by this criminal cabal.

Fairness Doctrine. this hate spouting and outright lying Reich wing radio has got to stop, no verifiable truth in most if not all of it and many people believe rush, for instance, like he was god or something. sorry but thats the truth, if rush said it it has to be true, I've heard that very thing said

Paper ballots, preferably hand counted, without it we lose no matter what, by allowing electronic voting machines continuing use we are agreeing to them whether we actually want to or not, just no two ways about it. One can only imagine that the problems will only get worse by not doing something now, kinda' like with the Iran/Contra criminals and we all know how that turned out, hell we're living it every durn day.

Restoring Habeas Corpus, the thought of where we are now is one of the most scariest things to me, its 'the' big bad wolf here today.

The Media, shame them into doing what is right even if we have to because its on their backs where all the water for this mess we are in today was carried, not by us the majority of the citizens but in our printed news and on our airwaves, both radio and television.

I want my country back

5. Do ya ever think
that those who drew up your constitution could imagine that one day in the future the Pres. and VP would read it every day until their brains ached, looking for loopholes?

9. not only them reading but having a whole cadre of lawyers doing it for pay
and we all know how some lawyers are about pay. nothing personal about honest lawyers I feel there are a lot of them, I've known a few. some of the people in this illegal criminal cabal have been working tirelessly for years setting the stage for them being where they are today. The fact that they have says volumes to me like they knew that they themselves maybe wouldn't be there to reap what they were sowing but their movement would, to me that is the message I get.

10. We are seeing for our own eyes and hearing with our own ears
that if we want something done about this we are going to have to do it ourselves, no one is going to do it for us. Its imperative that we must keep pushing no matter what.

11. it's tough
I don't spend near as much time on the internets as I do out in the real world talking to people, and I'm sensing a real shift in what the "on the street" impression of what's going on. More and more folks are completely disgusted by this administration and would love to see impeachment.

I just don't know how we can convey it any more clearly or effectively to get our elected representatives to act on it. It's maddening :grr:

12. In my travels and visits I see a big shift in what people are talking about today
I hear conversations where the 'I' word is or sounds to be the topic, I'm hearing how wrong it is the way we are in Iraq now after all it was based on lies, yes I've heard that from mouths that a short time back were saying how what we are doing then was right. Americans for the most part is waking up and the waking ones are not liking what they now see is going on. Out nightmare in no where near over but I do see a light now though where only a few months ago there were none.

14. precisely
That's what dumbfounds me as to why impeachment hasn't begun. I may get flamed for this, but I suspect a lot of "our" Dems in DC are secretly eyeing the power grap Bushcheney Inc. has made and want that kind of power for themselves when they regain the White House.

16. what else explains it,
its either that or blackmail and if its blackmail then I am one pissed American citizen, hell I'm pissed anyway either way it is. I will be putting all my efforts in trying to make a difference this next election for sure. I'm not sure what I can do to help but shoot, I'd wipe their brows if need be, the ones who are making a difference that is.

13. I think a lot
more people (aside from the progressive internets) are thinking like you madokie, and want their country back too. There is going to be some serious repercussions down the road and the ones responsible for this quagmire are going to be, hopefully, curled up in a fetal position by the time it's over.

15. I believe in the rule of law and they all should get their day in court
right before we hang the found guilty traitorous sob's. Its getting to really smell bad in here and so it is time to clean house, no rugs not cleaned.

17. I agree. Wholehertedly.
We need change in our party. A weasel will always be a weasel and a snake will always be a snake. If you demand that they soar with the eagles you will be disappointed. Our reps in congress, for whatever reason, justifiable or not, don't seem to be putting their hearts into the fight. I feel we would be well served by the Hacketts Duckworths and Clarks that have thrown their hat into the ring, only to be rejected by "the powers that be". If we don't change what we are doing, we can never (sanely) expect a different result.
