A $13,000 mistake: Lawmakers vote to demolish room wall
By DALE WETZEL Associated Press Writer
The Associated Press - Wednesday, June 27, 2007
BISMARCK, N.D.

Months after deciding to build a permanent wall between two new Capitol hearing rooms, legislators have voted to spend $13,000 to demolish it.

Removing the barrier will convert two small rooms into a single, large hearing room for a North Dakota House committee's future use, said Rep. Rick Berg, R-Fargo, the House majority leader.

The rooms were created last fall, at a cost of $175,000, for the use of two House Appropriations subcommittees during the 2007 Legislature.

I wonder whose brother in law made out.

3. going to be bigger mistake in the future
anyone want to bet that in a few more months they will be voting to put up a retractable wall that can be closed to make two rooms or opened to make one big room as the need arises?
