(Am I in a mood tonight, or what? I'm really not feeling all that negative, but things are weighing on my mind tonight. I'm driving across state on Sunday to pick up my boys, 13 and 10, and I can't help but wonder what kind of nation, what kind of world, they're going to inherit. As I said in my post, "Pandora's Planet," I am a creature of hope. But this night, as I think on what is happening in the halls of power, I am sick with sorrow).

I think the metre's off a little. I'm still new at this, but I'm learning. My next song "parody" will be better, I promise.
