3 teens indicted in hate crime against transgendered woman; Mass. DA speaks against intolerance
As an aside, this is what happens all too often to gay and transgendered folks. (For those who don't support including GLBT in hate crimes laws.) Also. Ann Coulter is not transgendered. She is a coddled, unaccomplished sociopath who has not experienced this kind of pain:

=====

LOWELL, Mass. (AP) - Three young Lowell men have been indicted on charges they assaulted a transgendered person.

Prosecutors say the alleged victim was attacked while walking home alone from a nightclub in the early morning hours of June second.

Jules Ruggs, Jeffrey Buchanan and Jonathan Artis -- all 19 -- were arrested a short time after the attack.

The alleged victim told police the attackers yelled slurs and said "we don't like your kind in our neighborhood."...Nickola told Bay Windows following the June vigil that the men who attacked her repeatedly called her “faggot” as they beat her. The men allegedly attacked her while she was walking home from a club, and the assault left her with part of her lip hanging off her face and cuts on her arms and legs.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerard Leone said the teens were "motivated by unacceptable tolerance."
"We allege that these three defendants, motivated by unacceptable intolerance, violently assaulted this victim because of his sexual orientation," said Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone, Jr., in a statement. "We will vigorously prosecute any case in which hatred is a motivation for violence, and protect the civil and constitutional rights of people of all races, religions, and sexual orientations."

2. Three Blind Mice
For they are surely not men.

My hopes and healing thoughts go out to the victim of the vicious assault.

Thank you Mr. Leone for treating this case as seriously as you have.
