I'm sad for Rod but, happy for you. Me, I have nothing for the game.

6. And God made it happen! |
|
According to Irsay and Dungy and Manning.
I just cringe when I hear that foolishness.
I say just give God the fucking Lombardi (but only if he explains why he was pulling for the Colts).

11. Well, you probably would have heard the same from Smith as well |
|
as he isn't shy about his faith system either.

14. Well, perhaps it was Dungy's faith in God that allowed him and the team |
|
to cope with Dungy's son's death last year.
I see no reason to get upset because the man acknowledges his faith.

9. Originally from NW IN...always been a Bears fan. But glad the Colts won!! |
|
It did feel very strange not totally rooting for the Bears. If they won, I would have been happy. Peyton Manning and his team deserved this one. So, Congratulations Colts. I want a cool blue jersey.

15. I was rooting for the Bears |
|
but the Colts outplayed them tonight...no question about it.
What DID surprise me was that the very, very physical Bears defense was matched by the Colts offensive line...that surprised me...I thought the one advantage the Bears would have over the colts would be the hard-nosed defense....I am surprised....

Could NFL football be more boring?
Give me a good college rivalry game any day.

. . . or you wouldn't say THAT.
I used to like the NFL. Now it's boring. The playoffs are marginally better. Still, a good college rivalry game or a closely-matched bowl game beats the pros, hands down.
